Teeth Extractions

We may recommend tooth extraction if:
  1.     A tooth is so severely damaged or decayed that an effective restoration (such as a filling, inlay, onlay, or crown) is not possible.
  2. Serious infection has destroyed a large portion of the tooth and supporting bone structure.
  3. There is not enough room for all of the teeth to properly fit in the mouth, resulting in severe crowding that cannot be corrected through orthodontic treatment alone.
  4. A baby (primary) tooth is not falling out as usual and is blocking the way for an erupting permanent tooth.
For the apprehensive patient, all levels of sedation dentistry are available. Our dentists will take the time necessary to address any of your concerns; your comfort and well being are our first concern.
